Lost but Found: Chris Farley as Shrek

In 1997, Chris Farley had recorded about 80% of the dialogue for Shrek. Unfortunately, he died before the movie could be finished. That is when Dreamworks hired Mike Meyers, and the successful movie series became what we know and love today.

But what would the Chris Farley version of Shrek have been like. The audio has been kept under wraps for years, but now we have a solid sample of what could have been.

First Look at "The Revenant" Starring Leonardo DiCaprio

20th Century Fox has released a trailer for The Revenant! The movie will have a limited release on Christmas Day, and is hitting more theaters world-wide on January 8, 2016.

The movie stars fan favorites like Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy, and is directed and co-written by Academy Award winner, Alejandro G. Iñárritu (Birdman).

We consider "Birdman" as one of the best made movies of 2014. Will teaming up with the celebrated director earn Leonardo DiCaprio his first Oscar?

Additional Information:

The Convocation Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas is pleased to announce that Show-Dog Universal artist Josh Thompson will take the stage on August 28 as a co-headliner with the Eli Young Band.   His recently released album, Turn It Up, is described as “A modern, kickin’ country party album, with plenty of swagger, plenty of energy, and plenty of blue-collar, hammer swingin’, fist-pumping attitude.”   “It’s just really all-encompassing,” Thompson says of the Turn It Up banner.  “Not only turn up this record, but turn up the way you live your life, turn up the crazy, turn up the feel-good, turn up the don’t-give-a-you-know-what.”

Josh Thompson will join the Eli Young Band for a night of fun-filled music as the two will both perform full sets.  This show was originally scheduled earlier in the year with Brett Eldredge on the ticket, but had to be rescheduled when the Eli Young Band was invited to perform with county legend Alabama.  The performance was part of the Academy Country Music Awards special Superstar Duets that was aired on CBS on May 31, 2015 and filmed at Globe Life Stadium, home of the Texas Rangers.

Any ticket that was purchased for the original show is still valid for the August 28 performance.  Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased on-line at Tickets.AState.edu, Ticketmaster.com, by calling 870-972-3870 or 888-ASU-FANS, or in person at the Central Box Office located inside the lower Red Lobby of The Convo.  For more information regarding this show, and all other shows, visit www.AStateConvo.com.
